I really wanted to go, but it was just too much for us this weekend. Sounds like you had a blast, except for your poor foot. I would have loved to have heard any of those poets read. But that is awful about the tent. Ouch.

Um, happy belated birthday? I now know that i won’t be able to attend your reading on Mother’s Day — my son’s piano recital is that day, on top of the fact that we’re taking my mom & grandmother somewhere to eat. But I’ll be there in spirit!

And yes, let’s firm up some lunch plans soon! The school year is going to end before I know it.
