Such an adventure moving to California. I think the weather will do you a world of good. I’ve followed your blog for sometime now, as you might remember, and have fretted over your health issues you raised. Try going yeast free, no molds or fungus kind of diet. Just another opinion…

For USA travelers, know that all hotels between Louisiana and San Antonio have been booked for months by FEMA, after hurricane IKE, and all the people in the hotels go to restaurants to eat, and there are lines, lines everywhere. Quite a bit of devastation, lights out, many businesses are closed still, etc. Gas stations run on generators.
If you have a big dump truck, I think you can make $2,000 a week. (I just passed through there and had to drive all night, no place to stay or eat.)

But all that matters is the poetry. Have you written ten unique lines of poetry this year?
Everything else is secondary.
