I don’t know what’s weirder, the actual explosion part or the helicopters hovering over placid Fort Worden.

But imagine if that had happened at the Fort Worden cottage while the helicopters nosed above it all. That would probably be weirder yet!

I cannot paint a decent watercolor to save my life. Gimme a pencil or a piece o’ chalk anyday, my fingers do not understand the magic of bristles. Mascara is hard enough.
