Thanks Deb! Yes, I remember – and another friend of mine lost a cat the same week. It has really helped – esp since the new kitty seems to have inherited a bit of our passed-away kitty’s eccentric personality.

Congrats on your kitty! If you recall, our cats died within a week of each other (suddenly) of most likely the same cause. What are the odds of that?

It's heartening to know you're ready for a kitten. I'm still not sure what I want to do.

Oh! Congrats on your new kitty! There are lots of stray cats here, and I so want to take one in. But that would be all sorts of complicated.

Good luck with the tail end of your thesis. I wish I could be there to get everything squared away for you like the last group (and not to mention see you graduate!). But rest assured I'll be thinking of you! Say hi to Glenn for me.
