And to be honest, let’s see, my veil of cool was probably at least somewhat harmed by my admission that at 31, I was going to my first ComicCon…a girl at my last reading was discussing my comic book poems and said something like, “Yeah, ComicCon was cool, but I stopped going when I was 13…”
So, instead, I will embrace uncoolness and my inner geek 🙂 This is more fun anyway.

PS – at a reading yesterday a junior-high school teacher bought a bunch of my chapbooks for her class. Do I think that my work could potentially corrupt minors? Soon we’ll have teenage girls in superhero costumes everywhere…
PSS – Went to ComicCon today and bought a poster of Wonder Woman fighting Nazis! Just like my poem! How cool is that!
