					<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve only been to one AWP (Austin) but I loved it. What made it work for me was making lunch &quot;dates&quot; with people I wanted to see (but never get to see). Being on one panel, participating in one reading.  Those times grounded me.  And I also hung out long hours hiking around the bookfair and hanging out at my publisher&#039;s (Tupelo&#039;s) booth.  

Big crowds aren&#039;t my thing either. Nor is smooshing.  But the above things made it feel &quot;real&quot; and fun.]]></description>
