It was a relief to be less tied to my work email, but I do a lot of web research as I write, and it made me crazy to have irregular access to that. And food matters SO much!–but I also think settling down to writing just takes a while and a person is never totally in control of what will happen when. The fox-muse will come if you make the ritual preparations, but in her own time!
