I’m sorry about whoever in your family is struggling with a cancer diagnosis. And yes to community being one small balm. Usually being outside is for me, too. The extent of this deep cold does not feel anywhere near normal–occasional snow and ice storms, sure, but the length of this cold stretch is a first in more than 30 years in VA.
