My husband worked as a volunteer in the Aviary at Woodland Park Zoo while he was a student at the UW. Later, he worked full time in the commissary (for animal feed). I have a lot of zoo stories, including sneaking into the zoo at night and the compounds that (last I saw) has grey wolves but at that time had rare deer.]]></description>
