While I’m certainly not on your level as a poet and writer yet, I have also been bombarded with rejections this year! A lot of them have been super nice and kind, but still rejections. Just whips the wind right out of your sails for sure! While it’s hard not to compare yourself to those you admire, you are your own very unique and cool self. I’ve seen a lot of progress, not to mention bravery, and I think you’ve still got a lot of great writing ahead! Thanks for the great pictures, we’re still looking at dirty snow in NY!

Her mind fascinates me as much as I love her poetry.
