Oh! The New Superhero Stamps from the Post Office feature Wonder Woman doing something I quote in my poem, “Wonder Woman Dreams of the Amazon.”
“…Inexplicably, snow-feathered doves appear in my hands…”
Check it. I write it, and it becomes a stamp. What does this mean?
Incidentally, the scene where she produces doves is in a comic-book fight with Mars, the God of War.

Jeannine Hall Gailey served as the second Poet Laureate of Redmond, Washington and the author of Becoming the Villainess, She Returns to the Floating World, Unexplained Fevers, The Robot Scientist’s Daughter, and winner of the Moon City Press Book Prize and SFPA’s Elgin Award, Field Guide to the End of the World. Her latest, Flare, Corona from BOA Editions, was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award. She’s also the author of PR for Poets, a Guidebook to Publicity and Marketing. Her work has been featured on NPR’s The Writer’s Almanac, Verse Daily and The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror. Her poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, Poetry, and JAMA.

I must buy some of those stamps for submissions!
Hey, do you know what the deal is with Kelli Russell Agodon’s blog? Her blog appears to be missing.

I bought those stamps and thought of you. Also saw a Wonder Woman purse on eBay. You were smart to claim that image as your own!

Thanks Peter!
Gerald – Yes, she took down her blog. Hopefully she’ll put it back up someday – I miss her blog already!
Thanks Leslie! I think it is coincidence that I started writing about Wonder Woman just before she began experiencing a resurgence – movie, stamp, etc. Must have been in the zeigeist or something.

Re: Kelli Russell Agodon’s blog
I remember reading a couple of posts on her blog where she intimated that she might blog less but I didn’t expect her to pull the plug completely. Miss her blog too!
Great stamps by the way! I must order some myself for my (American)SASE’s.

Yeah, I thought of you when I saw those!

Got my stamps the other day. Don’t think I’ll use them.
