  • Lived in California for half my life, and I’m a poet too.

Now that that’s out of the way… haha. It really does suck to be held off from doing things in that way. I had to keep moving around for a while, and I was similarly afraid of my (rejection) letters being sent to the wrong address. I ended up getting a PO Box, but that doesn’t help you if you move out of state, I suppose.

  • I’ve never lived in Calif. I’ve always been on the east coast.

    good luck with your decision.

  • That’s me up above. I wish blogger would allow me to delete that blogger account for good.

And my other mistake; why would I assume that because you miss California, you would have lived there. In any case, I am enjoying your blog very much. I’ve linked to it on my own. I hope that’s okay.

Good luck with the address problems!

  • Jeannine, maybe you need to host an essay contest of your own: “Why I should move to where you live” and let people extol on the advantes of various locations. It could be fun! (Although more reading to do.)

If you must choose the really southwest instead of Palm Springs, how about New Mexico? Albuqueque? Even just outside Santa Fe, it becomes affordable.

Or go for the gusto and move to Italy or Greece. If you can live anywhere…
