Congrats! And if you ever need cheering up, remember where I am!

Thanks buddy! I appreciate it. Okay. I’m thinking good thoughts, thinking good thoughts…
PS – at a reading yesterday a junior-high school teacher bought a bunch of my chapbooks for her class. Do I think that my work could potentially corrupt minors? Soon we’ll have teenage girls in superhero costumes everywhere…
PSS – Went to ComicCon today and bought a poster of Wonder Woman fighting Nazis! Just like my poem! How cool is that!
Kells
Very Cool! And who was this jr. high teacher? excellent, you’ve hit the masses!
Congrats as always…
Great reading last night….
Rusty
1) That’s awesome! Wonder Woman and fighting Nazi’s–it’s like the best thing ever!
2) Teenage girls in superhero outfits saving the world (or at least the study hall)… we need more of this in the world. You aren’t corrupting them, you are empowering them!
3) Many happy thoughts in your direction from moi.

Thanks Rusty! And Kelli! And Deborah, thanks, that’s very gracious of you – though now I’m embarrassed about my uncool hoot of glee.
Rusty
You should never be embarrassed by a hoot of glee! You’ve earned it!
32poems
Everyone hoots for glee. When 32 had 2 poems selected for BAP, I came close to screaming with joy. So, there you go. We’re all a bit uncool. =)

Thanks guys for your reassurance. And to be honest, let’s see, my veil of cool was probably at least somewhat harmed by my admission that at 31, I was going to my first ComicCon…a girl at my last reading was discussing my comic book poems and said something like, “Yeah, ComicCon was cool, but I stopped going when I was 13…”
So, instead, I will embrace uncoolness and my inner geek 🙂 This is more fun anyway.

There are too few things to hoot about in Poetry world–hoot your damn heart out! You Go Girl!!!!! Congrats!
